Trump Trolls Protesters With King Trump AI Video
In a direct response to nationwide demonstrations, President Donald Trump has turned to artificial intelligence to craft his message.
Trump's AI-Powered Rebuttal
Following the “No Kings” marches that took place across the country, President Trump shared a controversial, AI-generated video on his Truth Social platform. The clip, set to the tune of Kenny Loggins’ “Danger Zone,” shows a crowned Trump piloting a fighter jet labeled “King Trump” over New York City's Times Square. The video culminates with the jet dumping a brown, sludge-like substance onto the massive crowds of protesters below.
The "No Kings" Movement
The video was a clear response to the “No Kings” protests, which saw millions of people participate in thousands of marches across all 50 states. Cities from Atlanta to San Francisco hosted events under the banner of the movement. Organizers stated on their website, “More than 7 million of us rose up at more than 2,700 events in all 50 states, DC, and cities worldwide to say: America has no kings, and the power belongs to the people.” The demonstrations initially began over the summer to oppose Trump’s planned military birthday parade, with organizers claiming the movement rose against his “abuses of power.”
White House Adds to Controversy
Beyond the AI video, the White House also contributed to the online discourse with a separate social media post. An image posted on X depicted President Trump and Vice President JD Vance wearing crowns. This was contrasted with an image of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer wearing sombreros. The post was captioned with a simple phrase: “We’re built different.”
