Kim Kardashian Blames ChatGPT For Failed Law Exams
Aspiring lawyer Kim Kardashian is anxiously awaiting her bar exam results, and she already has a potential scapegoat if things don't go her way: ChatGPT. In a revealing new interview, the reality star and entrepreneur shared her unique, and apparently frustrating, experience using artificial intelligence as a study partner.

A Candid Lie Detector Confession
The admission came during Vanity Fair's popular lie detector test series, where her "All's Fair" costar Teyana Taylor posed the questions. When asked about her study habits, Kardashian didn't hold back, confessing she has turned to the popular AI chatbot for help with her demanding legal coursework.
"I use it for legal advice," she admitted. "So when I need to know the answer to a question, I'll take a picture and snap it and put it in there."
When AI Gets It Wrong
However, Kardashian's endorsement of the technology ended there. She claims that relying on ChatGPT has been a major setback in her studies. While it might seem like a clever shortcut, she insists the AI's assistance has been counterproductive.
"It has made me fail tests ... all the time," she lamented, adding that the incorrect answers often lead to frustration. "And then I'll get mad and I'll yell at it." It seems Kardashian is counting on OpenAI to improve its legal prowess, stating she's "leaning to them to really help me."

The Tough Road to Becoming a Lawyer
This isn't the first academic hurdle for Kim Kardashian. She famously passed the first-year law students' exam, often called the "baby bar," on her fourth attempt back in 2021, showcasing her determination. Fortunately for her, the California bar exam can be retaken as many times as needed.
The official California bar is known for being one of the most difficult in the United States. It's an intense two-day examination that includes five one-hour essay questions, a 90-minute performance test, and 200 multiple-choice questions. To put its difficulty into perspective, the passage rate for the July 2024 test was just 53.8%. It's a challenge that, as Kardashian has discovered, even modern AI can't conquer just yet.
