ChatGPT Deep Research Integrates Microsoft Cloud Storage
The advanced AI research tool ChatGPT Deep Research which recently became available to all chatbot users can now integrate with Microsofts OneDrive and SharePoint cloud storage services. This new connector launched in beta this week for subscribers of ChatGPT Plus Pro and Team plans. Support for ChatGPT Enterprise users is planned for a future release according to a report from Windows Central.

OpenAI states that its Deep Research feature is capable of synthesizing information from various online sources to generate comprehensive reports comparable in quality to those produced by human research analysts. With the introduction of this beta connector ChatGPT users gain the ability to leverage this powerful AI for analyzing their personal or company files stored directly in OneDrive and SharePoint.
How to Connect and Utilize the New Feature

Simply connect ask a question and deep research will read analyze and cite relevant content from your files.
A new lightweight version of Deep Research provides ChatGPT Plus Team Enterprise and Edu users with 25 queries per month while Pro users receive a higher limit of 250 queries. Users can link their OneDrive and SharePoint accounts to ChatGPT through the Connectors section within the chatbots Settings. Another way to enable this is by selecting Deep Research in the message composer clicking the drop down arrow and then choosing SharePoint.
Important Considerations Limitations and Other Connectors
It is important to note that this new ChatGPT connector currently does not support OneDrive consumer accounts. Furthermore the integration is not yet available for users located in the European Economic Area Switzerland and the United Kingdom. OpenAI also offers a similar GitHub connector for ChatGPT Deep Research enabling it to access and analyze live data from your code repositories.
