50 Cent AI Trolls Diddy Amidst Federal Trial
The long standing rivalry between hip hop figures 50 Cent and Diddy has taken a new turn, with 50 Cent leveraging AI generated imagery to mock Diddy as the latter faces a federal trial. This digital onslaught marks an escalation in a feud that has simmered for years.
The Decades Long Feud
Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, and Curtis Jackson, or 50 Cent, both rose to prominence in the 1990s hip hop scene. Despite Diddy often downplaying any animosity, 50 Cent has been openly critical of him for many years. Their paths crossed professionally; 50 Cent was a credited writer on Diddy's 2001 song "Let's Get It," and they appeared at events and even performed together, notably at the 2007 Screamfest tour alongside Jay Z, Kanye West, and T.I.
However, this collaboration was surprising, as just a year prior, 50 Cent's 2006 diss track, "The Bomb," controversially suggested Diddy's involvement in the murder of Biggie Smalls. The song also took a jab at Diddy's famous "White Parties." 50 Cent has continued to publicly criticize Diddy, making insinuations about accusations against him and his sexuality.
The text accompanying an image described Diddy presenting 50 Cent with the Best Video Award at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, highlighting their long, complex history.
Another piece of text mentioned 50 Cent trolling Diddy numerous times in interviews and on social media, recently sharing several AI generated images.
It was also noted that 50 Cent has increased his social media activity, targeting Diddy during his federal trial.
AI Trolling Intensifies with Diddys Legal Troubles
50 Cent's taunts have become particularly pronounced since Diddy's arrest in September on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. Following the arrest, 50 Cent posted a picture of himself with Drew Barrymore, captioning it with a jab about not having "1,000 bottles of lube at the house," a reference to items reportedly found during a raid on Diddy's Florida home by Homeland Security.
As jury selection for Diddy's trial commenced, 50 Cent escalated his campaign with a series of AI generated photos mocking his nemesis. DailyMail.com highlighted some of these posts.
A caption mentioned that 50 Cent and Diddy emerged in the music industry around the same time and collaborated in the 1990s, referencing a 2007 performance picture with Jay Z and Kanye West.

The post drew praise from followers for its pettiness.

Baby oil pool
On May 13, 50 Cent shared an AI generated photo of Diddy in a pool of baby oil. This post coincided with testimony from Diddy's former partner, Cassie Ventura, who described being forced into an inflatable pool of baby oil during Diddy's alleged "freak off" parties. Homeland Security had also reportedly found baby oil and lubricant at Diddy's residence. 50 Cent's post included an AI image of Diddy shirtless in an inflatable pool with a yellow duck, and another of Diddy smiling, surrounded by baby oil in the pool.

Free Diddy T-shirt
50 Cent also shared a video of people outside the New York federal courthouse wearing "Free Puff" and "Free Diddy" T-shirts. One person claimed they were offered $20 an hour to wear one. 50 Cent then posted an AI image of himself in a "Free Diddy" shirt, joking, "Ok now where do I send my $20 invoice guys, a deals a deal. If you want I can be there tomorrow from 3 to 4 OK !" He followed this with another AI image of himself at the courthouse, including a screenshot about Cassie Ventura's mother testifying she took out a home equity loan of $20,000 at Diddy's demand. 50 Cent commented on this, questioning the legality of Diddy's alleged actions.
A caption read: "50 Cent reposted a video of demonstrators with 'Free Diddy' shirts outside the courthouse. He then shared an AI generated photo of himself with the shirt, joking that he got paid to wear it."

A caption stated: "50 Cent shared a photo of Diddy as a teen, seemingly from his yearbook. The doctored image had an edited superlative under Diddy's headshot."
The Feuds Origins According to 50 Cent
In a July interview with The Hollywood Reporter, 50 Cent discussed his feelings, recounting a time Diddy asked to take him shopping, an offer 50 Cent found strange and uncomfortable. He denied they were ever friends, stating their relationship was purely professional. He also mentioned that Diddy's former girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, had encouraged Diddy to work with him. 50 Cent criticized Diddy's creative contributions, saying, "He’s not a producer. He’s been able to take advantage of the business and the creatives in it." This story was also recounted in a 2018 Breakfast Club interview.
The rappers also clashed in the 2010s over rival vodka brands, Diddy with Ciroc and 50 Cent with Effen Vodka. In a 2018 Drinks Champs podcast interview, 50 Cent touted Effen Vodka's qualities over Ciroc. Over the years, 50 Cent has consistently taken shots at Diddy, including comparing him to R. Kelly and sharing footage from a "Diddy Roast." In October 2023, he accused Diddy of involvement in Tupac Shakur's death.

Kelly," "50 Cent attended a roast of Diddy and shared video footage of comedians making fun of his nemesis," and "50 Cent revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that they were never friends. Diddys Response and Ongoing Trial
Despite 50 Cent's relentless trolling, Diddy has largely denied any feud. In a 2018 Breakfast Club interview, Diddy claimed 50 Cent "loves" him and suggested they could be friends, offering to teach 50 Cent about money making. Diddy has consistently denied all allegations against him, including any involvement in the deaths of Tupac or Biggie, and maintains his innocence regarding the current federal charges. His trial is expected to continue for weeks.
Captions noted: "After Diddy's arrest, 50 Cent took to Instagram to share that he was on The Drew Barrymore Show" and "Diddy claimed that 50 Cent 'loves' him during a 2018 interview. He hasn't commented on the feud frequently and has denied all the allegations against him. (Pictured here with Paris Hilton in Las Vegas in 2007)."
