For instance, Android users encounter the AI profile photo option in a sideways layout. On iOS devices, however, this feature is arranged in a top-to-bottom list. WhatsApp has named this tool 'Create AI Image' and positions it as the second option from the bottom, accessible within both individual chats and group settings.
Powered by Meta AI: How It Works
The AI profile photo creator is seamlessly integrated with Meta AI. When accessing the feature for the first time, users will be prompted to give their consent for Meta AI usage. Once approved, they will be guided to an interface designed for AI-driven image generation.
Within this interface, users can input text prompts to describe the image they envision. The system encourages detailed prompts, as greater specificity generally leads to more accurate and satisfying image results. After a prompt is submitted, Meta AI will present several unique image options based on the input.
Refining and Finalizing Your AI-Generated Image
Should the initial set of images not align with the user's preferences, they can easily tap the 'create' button, typically found on the far right, to generate a new batch of options from Meta AI. This allows for an iterative process until the perfect image is found. Once a satisfactory image is identified, the user can select it.
To finalize their choice, users will press a confirmation button, usually a checkmark, located in the lower right corner. A notable detail is that all profile pictures generated through the 'Create AI Image' feature will display a Meta AI logo in the lower right corner. Currently, the exact date for the stable release of this feature to all WhatsApp users on iOS remains unannounced.
