Health and wellness company Nutrabolt, the force behind popular brands like Bloom, C4, and Xtend, is making a major upgrade to its retail strategy. The company is adopting AI-enabled image recognition technology to automate and enhance how its products are managed in stores.

The Challenge of Rapid Growth

As Nutrabolt's portfolio of brands expanded, so did the complexity of managing its presence across a vast retail and distributor network. The company needed a more effective and efficient method for tracking key metrics like SKU availability, pricing accuracy, and out-of-stock instances. The traditional process of manual data entry by field reps was becoming too slow and prone to errors.

A Smarter Solution with AI

To address these challenges, Nutrabolt expanded its partnership with Repsly, a platform it has used since 2020. By integrating Repsly's image recognition (IR) tools, Nutrabolt's field teams can now conduct photo-driven audits. This system eliminates tedious manual work by allowing for instant uploads, consolidation, and analysis of thousands of photos from retail stores, improving both accuracy and speed.

Tangible Benefits for Field Teams

This new technology serves as a single source of truth for all retail data, providing clearer visibility into in-store conditions. The primary benefits include faster audits, a significant reduction in human error, and a more comprehensive view of retail execution.

Hagen Panton, VP of Retail Development and Sales Capability at Nutrabolt, noted that the partnership has transformed fieldwork. He stated that it simplifies the tracking process and makes store visits more effective. "Our reps spend less time on data entry and more time making data-informed decisions,” Panton added.
