Don Jr Shares Bizarre AI Meme of Trump and WNBA
Trump Jr.'s 'Comment Free' Post
Donald Trump Jr. is continuing his streak of sharing unusual online content about his father, this time with a bizarre AI-generated image posted to his Instagram. The image, which he sourced from the X account "Grand Old Memes", shows former president Donald Trump on the White House roof, appearing to throw a neon green dildo down to a WNBA basketball court below.
Alongside the image, Trump Jr. simply wrote, “Posted without further comment,” adding three laughing emojis to let the provocative meme speak for itself.
The Bizarre Trend Plaguing the WNBA
The meme serves as a layered reference to two very different recent events. The first is a nod to Donald Trump's own recent and unusual stroll on the White House roof. The second, more controversial element points to a strange and dangerous trend that has been occurring at WNBA games.
Specifically, the meme's subject matter relates to an incident where Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham was struck by a sex toy thrown from the stands during a game. In a twist of irony, Cunningham had pleaded on X just days earlier for fans to "stop throwing dildos on the court… you’re going to hurt one of us.” After the incident, she quoted her own post, adding, “this did NOT age well.”
This was not an isolated case. In recent weeks, at least two men have been arrested for similar actions. The Los Angeles Times reported that the trend of throwing these objects, which are noted as “seemingly always colored green,” began in late July.
A Pattern of Provocative Posts
This latest post is part of a growing collection of eyebrow-raising AI memes shared by the former president's son. Just last week, he raised eyebrows by posting another AI-generated image of his father, this time in an all-denim outfit referencing actress Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle campaign.
He captioned that image with a quote from the movie Zoolander, writing, “That Hanse… Um, Donald is so hot right now!!!” These posts highlight his fondness for using AI-generated content to comment on current cultural moments.
