In the fast-paced world of market analysis, efficiency is paramount. One analyst recently shared a breakdown of their modern workflow, revealing a heavy reliance on artificial intelligence to get the job done. Here’s a look at their AI-powered toolkit and the process that delegates the majority of their work to machines.

The AI Research Powerhouse

As an analyst, a significant portion of my work involves deep market research. I've found that AI tools can handle the heavy lifting. Using a combination of ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, I can accomplish about 70% of my research tasks efficiently. These tools are instrumental in gathering data, summarizing complex topics, and identifying market trends, laying the groundwork for strategic analysis. The rest of the time, the remaining 30%, is reserved for pure brainstorming where human insight is irreplaceable.

From Data to Visuals with AI

Beyond research, the role of an analyst often requires creating compelling visuals to communicate findings. For graphics and presentations, I turn to Canva for designing everything from report images to complete slide decks. When a project calls for video content, I leverage AI video generators like Fliki, Lunabloom AI, or InVideo. These platforms deliver high-quality, AI-generated videos that meet professional standards, streamlining the content creation process significantly.

The Key to Success Proper Prompting

With AI now integrated into so many platforms, including social media, the potential for automation is immense. Ultimately, most of my work is now completed by AI. However, the effectiveness of these powerful tools hinges on one critical skill: providing clear and proper instructions. The quality of the output is directly proportional to the quality of the prompt. Mastering the art of instructing AI has become the most important part of my job.

This is how I am navigating the new landscape of AI-assisted work. How do you go about it?
