• Now Brief: Get personalized daily updates on traffic, important reminders, and curated content like music and videos based on your interests. It also integrates with Samsung Health to show your Sleep and Energy scores from your Galaxy Watch.
• Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection (KEEP): This new security architecture safeguards AI experiences by creating encrypted, app-specific storage. This ensures that each app can only access its own sensitive data, protecting it from others.
• Knox Matrix: This system enhances security by automatically signing you out of your Samsung Account if it detects a serious risk, like system manipulation. It also sends notifications to your connected Galaxy devices with guidance on how to protect your data.

• Circle to Search with Google: Get instant gaming help by simply circling an item or character on your screen. This feature provides strategies, helpful links, and videos. Circle to Search also gets an upgrade with real-time on-screen translation, allowing you to understand text from news articles or social media posts in your preferred language as you scroll.

A Seamless Experience Across All Devices

One UI 8 is built to adapt to the entire Galaxy ecosystem, from smartphones to tablets, ensuring a seamless and productive experience regardless of the device's form factor.

The user experience has been optimized with several new tools:

• AI Results View: AI-generated results, such as from Writing Assist, now appear in a separate Split View or Floating View. This allows you to easily move content around without obstructing your original work.
• Galaxy AI for Large Screens: On tablets, you can now drag and drop AI-generated images and text directly into your workflow using Multi Window.
• FlexWindow Enhancements: Gemini Live is now accessible directly from the FlexWindow for hands-free voice search. Additionally, Audio Eraser can proactively detect and remove unwanted background noise from your videos with a single tap.
• Adaptive Clock Design: The lock screen clock now features a new design that stretches and wraps around objects or faces in your wallpaper, ensuring visibility without hiding your favorite photos.

When Can You Get One UI 8?

The One UI 8 update begins its rollout this week, starting with the Galaxy S25 series. Throughout October, the update will expand to more Galaxy smartphones and tablets, including the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy S24 FE, and other select models.
