It’s crazy and great in equal parts,” she shared, reflecting on the sudden surge of attention. And there’s absolutely nothing that is not allowed in this game.”

The actress voiced her most profound concern as a mother, thinking about the long-term consequences of these fake images. “I have a twelve-year-old son... eventually he will have access to these images. They’ll remain on the internet forever. These obscene images of his mother—he’s going to see them one day, and it worries me,” she explained. She pointed out that even though people know the images are fake, the “cheap thrill” they provide points to a frightening aspect of our digital reality. “This is scary,” she concluded.
