A Three-Year Fight for Copyright
Just a month after his victory, Allen's attempt to copyright the images was denied, initiating a three-year legal struggle with the U.S. Copyright Office (USCO). In August, he intensified his efforts by filing a new brief, aiming to finally secure copyright protection for his Midjourney-generated piece, titled Théâtre D’opéra Spatial. Alongside his legal battle, Allen is also preparing to sell oil-print reproductions of the controversial image.
