Reba McEntire And Dolly Parton Shut Down AI Death Hoax
Country music legends Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton are taking a stand against a bizarre AI-generated hoax that recently circulated online. The two icons used social media to address a fake image and clear up any confusion with their signature humor and grace.
The strange situation arose after an AI-generated picture began spreading, falsely depicting Reba at Dolly's supposed deathbed. The image caused concern among fans, prompting both stars to speak out.
Dolly Parton's Humorous Take
Dolly Parton addressed the fabricated image in a video, laughing off the absurdity of the situation. She pointed out the ridiculousness of the AI-generated scene and its poor quality.
"Did you see that AI picture of Reba and me? Woo, lordy. I mean they had Reba at my deathbed. And we both look like we need to be buried…I thought, oh my Lord. If I was really dying, I don’t think Reba would be the one at my deathbed," Dolly said with a laugh.
Reba McEntire Responds with Love
Following Dolly's video, Reba McEntire posted her own response, slamming the AI-generated content while also sending a heartfelt message to her friend. She cleverly pointed out another AI hoax targeting her at the same time.
"You tell ‘em, Dolly, that AI mess has got us doing all kinds of crazy things. You are out there dying, I’m out here having a baby," Reba stated.
She continued with a warm message of friendship, saying, "Well, both of us know I’m too young and you are too old for any of that kind of nonsense. You better know I’m praying for you. I love you with all my heart, and I can’t wait to see you soon."
Thriving in Their Careers
Proving the hoaxes couldn't be further from the truth, both stars remain incredibly active. Reba McEntire is currently a celebrated coach on the 28th season of The Voice, and her comedy series Happy’s Place is set for its return in November.
