A New Era for Productivity and Creativity

Adobe has officially launched a transformative new platform called Acrobat Studio, set to redefine how we interact with documents. Announced on August 19, 2025, this innovative home for work unites the core functionality of Adobe Acrobat with the creative power of Adobe Express and the intelligence of new AI agents. The goal is to provide a single, intuitive environment where users can quickly generate insights and create compelling content.

Adobe's new Acrobat Studio turns standard PDFs into interactive knowledge hubs. Users can leverage customizable AI Assistants to ask questions, unlock key information, and receive recommendations directly from their documents. This information can then be seamlessly used to generate new content, from images to videos, powered by Adobe Firefly and Adobe Express templates.

The Evolution of the PDF

This launch marks a significant milestone for the PDF, a format Adobe invented in 1993 that has since become the global standard for information exchange, with over three trillion PDFs in use today. Acrobat is evolving from a leading document productivity application into a comprehensive destination for both productivity and creativity. Acrobat Studio introduces PDF Spaces, which dynamically organize collections of PDFs, web pages, and other files. These spaces allow users to work smarter by deploying AI agents to extract valuable insights across multiple sources at once.

In addition to these new features, Acrobat Studio retains Acrobat's full suite of powerful PDF tools for scanning, e-signing, editing, and combining documents. It also enhances these capabilities with specialized contract AI and the ability to summarize scanned documents using artificial intelligence, building on Adobe's decades of leadership in document technology and machine learning.
