Teen Allegedly Used ChatGPT For Israel Attack Plan
An indictment was filed at the Juvenile District Court in Lod against a 16 year old from Tira. Prosecutors allege the teenager broke into a police station intending to carry out a terror attack against officers. This act was reportedly in revenge for Operation Swords of Iron, as confirmed by the State Prosecution on Wednesday.
The teenager allegedly entered the police station with a 10cm blade on the night of March 5, 2025. His motivation was stated as a protest against what he perceived as the Jewish occupation of Israel and the ongoing Operation Swords of Iron.

AI Consultation in Attack Preparations
A significant claim in the indictment is that the teenager consulted with ChatGPT while planning the attack. He is said to have discussed various options and methods with the AI before deciding to proceed with his plan.
In the hours leading up to the alleged attempt, the accused reportedly approached a border officer on foot. He is said to have shouted “Allah Akbar” and similar phrases before raising the blade towards the officer.
Current Legal Standing
Despite the serious nature of the allegations, the accused has not been charged with attempted injury under aggravated circumstances as an act of terrorism.
Prosecution's Detention Request
The prosecution has requested that the suspect be kept in detention until the legal proceedings are complete. This request is based on the cited difficulty in preventing and detecting similar terror attacks.
