HitPaw Supercharges Its Editors With New AI Features

HitPaw has rolled out significant updates for its creative suite, introducing FotorPea 5 and VikPea 5. These new versions are packed with powerful AI-driven features designed to streamline and enhance photo and video editing workflows.

FotorPea 5: AI-Powered Photo Editing

The updated photo editing tool, FotorPea 5.0.0, introduces a game-changing feature called AI Replace. This allows you to modify images using simple text commands, making it easy to switch backgrounds, alter clothing, or adjust hairstyles directly within selected areas.

The face restoration system also gets a boost with the CodeFormer model, which produces more natural and detailed facial features. HitPaw's new video editor, VikPea 5.0.0, is focused on high-quality restoration. It features a new UHD Restoration Model designed for videos at 720p resolution and higher, delivering superior sharpness, detail, and face repair.

The update introduces a suite of professional models to tackle common video issues. These include a Denoise model for grainy footage, a Decompression model to repair artifacts from repeated online sharing, and a Sharpen model to enhance clarity and fine details.

A new AI Colorist Model offers frame-by-frame analysis to colorize black-and-white videos, ensuring stable and continuous hues across scenes. This is perfect for restoring archival films or old family recordings. Watermark removal is also improved with a point-select mode for more accurate masking of logos and subtitles. Both the AI Colorist and watermark removal functions now support full cloud-based exports.

FotorPea 5.0.0 introduces a new commercial upgrade policy. Users with versions that are three major releases old will need to pay for an upgrade to continue using the software for commercial purposes.
